Office  BORNOS

Our office is located in one of the most emblematic areas of Costa de la Luz (Coast of Light): Bornos (Lake City) is the excellence tourism spot in the recent years, due to its geographical location and nature, aswell as for many other cultural reasons.

Bornos is located by the shore of a beautiful lake at the foothills of the mountains. Lots of houses in the village enjoy fabulous views.

Important airports such as Jerez and Gibraltar are two hours away from Bornos. Shopping centres of the area are just 1 hour away.

Hiking, horseback riding, windsurf...

Its rural setting surrounded by nature, encourages relaxation and healthy living. Hiking or horseback riding along any the many tourist routes you can find here, can be combined with other sports such as sailing or windsurfing on the lake.

 Renaissance gardens in Bornos

Related to the culture, the most important fact is that the Moorish people were living here for more than 500 years. So, its streets and character are influenced by this culture. Therefore, Vejer is considered Historical Monument.

Bornos has been populated since prehistoric times. Both Iberians and Romans have left their imprint on it. We must, underline the fact that the Arabs were settled in bribes over 500 years, which undoubtedly marked the character of the village, in its streets,  people and way of life.

Bornos Castle

Carisa Aurelia Roman ruins, of its famed fortified Fontanar Tower (Bornos Castle) built by the Arabs with a splendid garden and later expansion with the only Renaissance Lodge of Andalusia, are living witnesses of a past that have warranted them the declaration of historical artistic monuments.
